Farhad Hussain

Farhad Hussain, born in 1975 at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand is an Indian artist. He studied Bachelor in fine arts in painting at Kala Bhavan, Visva Bharati, West Bengal in 2003. After that, he studied his Master in fine arts in painting at Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat. Farhad works are based on the realities of human relationships and their subtle complexities. Farhad’s paintings dwell on the human figure where each figure is interrelated to the other one. Each figure is an integral part of the work and leaves the viewer awe-struck. He has been felicitated with many awards and honours.
