Hemant Rao
Hemant Rao, born in 1984, is a young prolific artist in the field of abstract and contemporary art. His roots are from the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Rao is self-taught abstract artist and has attained great mastery and skill. Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi felicitated him with the prestigious National Academy award in the year 2019. He has also worked at Graphic Studio, Bharat Bhawan located at Bhopal between 2005 and 2010. His works have been showcased at numerous galleries and his solo shows consisted of Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai in 2016; Art Spice Gallery, New Delhi in 2013.
