Padmakar Santape

Padmakar Santape is a senior contemporary artist born 1960 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He studied Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting which he obtained in 1988. Santape tries to create the atmosphere of peace, happiness and problem solving through his art. He has participated in many solo shows held at Taj Art Gallery and Designscape Gallery, Mumbai. He has many achievements and awards that include Bharat Bhavan Scholarship, Bhopal, 1991; honors at South Central Zone Cultural Center Nagpur, 1995, Research Grant by Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi, 1994-95, Government of India Fellowship New Delhi, 1998-2001.
