Parvez Ahmed

Parvez Ahmed was born in Indore, in 1955. He pursued BSc in Biology first, and then a Master’s degree in Drawing and Painting, and Fine Arts from Indore. He initially gravitated towards the subject of landscapes during the early part of his practice but then eventually started finding the abstract idiom much more liberating. Not consciously inclined towards art as a child, he however found helping his siblings with drawings and diagrams for their school work quite satisfying- a hint towards his later career. His abstract renditions were carried out in vibrant colours, signifying the traditions of India and the awe-inspiring nature for him.
