Rameshwar Singh was born in 1948 at Deogarh, Rajasthan. He has done his bachelors in Science and later on studied Master in Drawing and Painting at the University of Udaipur in 1980's. Initially, he started with abstracts but gradually shifted over to figurative works. He developed his own style and painted bold figures. He has participated in many exhibitions at both national and international level. This includes 11th Asian Art Biennial, Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2004; Golden Jubilee celebration of Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, 2004; International Art Exhibition organised by WIRA World Congress and UNESCO, Jaipur, 1993 and many others. He was also felicitated with many awardees and honors like National Award, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, 1986; Honor by His Excellency The Governor of Tamil Nadu.
