Ravi Kumar Kashi
Ravi Kumar Kashi was born in 1968 in Bangalore. He studied Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting at College of Fine Arts, Bangalore in 1988 and Master of Fine Arts in printmaking at Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda in 1990. He also has a masters degree in Literature from Mysore University in 1995. Apart from this, he also studied handmade papermaking under Ms J. Parry at the Papermaking Resource, Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow, United Kingdom under the Charles Wallace Fellowship. Ravi also works with different mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography and installation.

These include 10th Triennale of India in New Delhi and 11th Asian Art Biennale, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Yokokhama International Triennale of Contemporary art, Japan, Arad Biennale, Romania. He is awarded with Karnataka Lalit Kala Akademi award thrice and the National award in 2001. At present, Ravi resides and works in Bangalore.
